Energy and Resources
Alberta's natural resources are a major source of prosperity and strategic strength. Alberta Now will advocate for responsible development, reliable market access and federal policy that recognizes Alberta's ability to develop its resources competitively.
Fiscal Responsibility
Governments have an obligation to respect taxpayers, disclose costs honestly and demonstrate value for public money. Alberta Now will approach federal fiscal questions from the perspective of Alberta taxpayers and Alberta's long-term prosperity.
Freedom and Opportunity
A prosperous society depends on individual liberty, property rights, entrepreneurship, open debate and institutions that are accountable to citizens.
Self-Determination
Alberta's constitutional future belongs to Albertans. Alberta Now supports the right of Albertans to examine their options openly and make major constitutional choices through lawful and democratic processes.
Responsible Government
Alberta Now should hold itself to the standard it expects from government: transparent governance, responsible finances, strong internal controls, respect for members and clear accountability.
