Alberta Now is being created on a different premise: federal representatives elected under our banner should be free to put Alberta's interests first.

Our purpose is not to make Alberta louder inside another national party. It is to build an Alberta-focused federal voice that answers directly to Albertans.

in Parliament

Alberta Now intends to contest federal elections and elect Members of Parliament whose primary political responsibility is to represent Alberta's interests. The model is simple: build a disciplined federal caucus that does not have to trade away Alberta priorities to win seats elsewhere in Canada.

That means advocating for Alberta on taxation, energy, trade, federal regulation, constitutional questions and the broader relationship between Alberta and Ottawa.
